About 4UGEAR

Quick Summary

This page explains how 4UGEAR grew from an OEM cap factory base into a team that can connect development, sampling, production, and export coordination in one working system.

We are Dongguan Shiyou Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., and we also use the name 4UGEAR in external communication. The company was established in 2012, but the team's headwear manufacturing background reaches back to the years around 2004. For us, growth has never meant scale alone. It has meant building a system that connects development, sampling, production, quality control, and export communication without leaving each stage isolated.

You can see that through several milestones: exhibition participation started in 2013, international market communication expanded in 2014, our own factory base was established in 2017, the production space grew to around 4,000 square meters with about 80 team members in 2020, and by 2024 the setup expanded to around 12,000 square meters with about 300 staff while the Vietnam factory was added as well. Those dates matter because they explain why we can now support more complete brand programs instead of only handling fragmented production work.

How the company grew into the current structure

  • We first strengthened core headwear development and craft execution, then gradually tied sample work, production follow-through, and export communication into one rhythm.
  • As project types became more demanding, we added stronger sample-room support, specialized craft departments, packaging coordination, and QC instead of leaving those parts disconnected.
  • The China and Vietnam production layout was not built only to add capacity. It was built to create more practical room for timing, cost, and execution stability across different program types.

Our company culture is better understood through the way we work

We care about a few practical habits: replying fast without becoming vague, moving samples forward without losing sight of bulk reality, surfacing problems early instead of hiding them until later, and protecting agreed milestones whenever possible. When a change becomes necessary, we would rather explain it clearly than let uncertainty build. That is the kind of day-to-day discipline that supports long-term cooperation more than any slogan does.

Why customers still read the company page

Serious OEM customers are not reading this page for a polished company story. They are trying to judge whether the supplier has real accumulation, a clear growth path, and an internal structure that can keep programs moving with fewer resets. Those things directly affect development efficiency, sample rhythm, and bulk stability later on.
